Israel is aware that a full scale of ground offensive has many risks to carry out. However increasing number of missiles to Haifa, Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv might compel Israel to consider more military solution that civil solutions. As much as Hamas and Islamic Jihad are aware of it, they have no other ability not to assault such missile attacks unless Israel stops. However ground attack is not a solution to Israel. A ground assault would like to cause great loss to Israel. Gaza is a Palestinian area and Gaza is very much compacted. The militias are aware of the geography and logistics; although would be difficult, is not a major hardship. Hamas has military technology to stop the tanks if Israel wants to use. All these technology comes from Iran.
Therefore, all these facts would ease the tension by time. However, Israel has seen for the first time that major Arab nations support Israel retaliation for the first time. And this is likely the major gain Israel has. Israel would like to observe and see what kind of major reactions would come from Muslim world which has no unity among its members. Israel would expect that Muslim world would show lack of unity to Gaza and that would be the time when Israel would assault such ground military operation.
Therefore, Israel eyes on Turkey and Iran reactions. While Iran supports Hamas including logistics and financing, Turkey shows its reaction in international arena calling for support to stop the Israel aggression.
While the unity among Muslim nations is lacking, Israel will be encouraged to take decisive action to assault ground incursion in near future. Iran will likely to lose more strengths in future due to lack of finance. Moreover, any nuclear agreement with US would ensure Israel safety, too. That would leave Turkey alone, if not totally.
Turkish economy is its main weakness in international politics. It needs foreign investment and it knows it comes via Jewish community controlled financing industry and Jewish controlled US Senate. Without strengthening the economy, it will be unwise for Turkey to take a direct position against Israel. Therefore, Erdogan calls for international support and does its best to halt the aggression although it will not be enough.
The only way to stop such aggression is to modify the economy and strengthen the technology. Then unity among Muslim nations can be sustained. Then Gaza problem can be solved.
