Fundamental changes in International system in the last decade have been such that it pushes Turkey to awkward situation necessitating a choice between pleasant to unpleasant alternatives. Thus, forces Turkey to adjust new development. But this time, since the first of republic, Turkey is compelled to take a side. And surprisingly, Turkey chooses its side.


Of course, this unexpected choice comes with unpleasant choices. Turkey chooses its own path in lack of a Grand National Strategy. If you ask a political analyst or a foreign state man about Turkey's national grand strategy, you would most probably hear various things but not many things in common.


Grand Strategy is to specify the security and non-security goals that a state should pursue, and to delineate how military power can serve these goals. In order to achieve this, Turkey has to main a stable if possible growing economy including capability to young minds to develop the technology.


Since Turkey has no Grand National Strategy, Turkey is getting delayed or late developing the economy as well as technology. Despite the fact that Turkey has all resources at home, there are many factors that contributes to failure.
