Russian officials have said a US decision to supply weapons to Ukraine is dangerous and will encourage Kiev to use force in eastern Ukraine.
The response from Moscow came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump's administration approved a plan to provide weapons to Ukraine, including Javelin anti-tank missiles.
Franz Klintsevich, a member of the upper house of the Russian parliament's security committee, said Ukraine would consider arms deliveries as support of its actions.
Ukraine has long sought the weapons for its fight against Russia-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine that has killed more than 10,000 since April 2014.
