A group of Turkish soldiers on Tuesday reached a military base in Qatar's capital Doha.

The forces are set to take part in joint exercises within the framework of a defence agreement signed between Doha and Ankara aimed at raising Qatar's defence capabilities, supporting "counter-terror" efforts, and maintaining security and stability in the region.

With this new group, the countries will have more military drills aimed at strengthening the defense capabilities of both countries.

Deterring relations within Gulf Countries urges Qatar to seek for allies due to security threats. Turkey also wants this cooperation in order to increase its influence in the region.

Saudi Arabia will seek an alliance to rebalance this new alliance. It will not be suprising to see Saudi Arabia getting closer to Israel.
