Inflation increased by 0.69 percent in December 2017, but end at 11.92 percent at the end of 2017. Accordingly, civil servants and pensioners will receive an additional additional rate of 1.69 percent. The total raise rate was 5.69%.
Officials received a 3 percent hike for the first six months of 2017 and a 6.92 percent hike for the second six months, including the inflation gap.
Turkey has an inflation rate around 12% at the moment. Under circumstances where inflation is increasing, it would be interesting to see whether the hike is competent or not.
