Turkish Prime Minister met with Vice President Pence on 09 November. US has asked for a favor of its own; requesting the detained Americans (especially the pastor). However like US has replied to Turkey on Fettullah matter, Prime Minister Binali said that Turkey cannot intervene the Justice system process.
Turkey is an important ally to US but none of the party trusts each other. The recent development emphasizes that the problems are not solved but cooperation on regional security will continue. President Erdogan threatens US to turn into Russia, in terms of arms deal and trade when US helps PKK/YPG or continues protecting Gulen . Although US does not like it, US will do everything not to swap Turkey into Russian side.
