Turkey announces that national high-speed trains will be produced in Eskisehir, 23 November 2017. 20 trains from the mill (can be foreign) to the public with at least 10% of the domestic contribution to the manufacture is a must and 60 of them are imported with at least 53% of the local contribution and the land to be shown in Eskişehir by TCDD (Turkish National Train Company) in Turkey is manufactured in TÜLOMSAŞ, 16 will be produced with the contribution of at least 74% local contribution within the national YHT (High Speed Train) project and the land to be set up in TÜLOMSAŞ by TCDD in Eskişehir in Turkey.
YHT first served on the Ankara-Eskişehir route. Nowadays it serves also in Konya, Istanbul, Ankara, Eskişehir, Bilecik, Istanbul (Pendik) cities. The cruising speed is 250 km/h. In case of a trendy fault with 8 motors, there is a system that prevents another motor from entering the circuit and keeping the train on the road. Ankara-Eskisehir between the fast train of approximately 1 hour 20 minutes, Başkentray said that the end of this training will be 1 hour 15 minutes.
The biggest obstacle to the project is the access of technology that is given great importance because of the increase in trade from East to West and the reduction of the cost of operation.
