European Central Bank (ECB) decided not to change its monetary policy. The Governing Council said it is expecting key ECB interest rates to remain at their current levels for an extended period of time.

In October, the ECB announced it will extend its quantitative easing program in the eurozone until September 2018 at a monthly purchasing rate of 30 billion euros ($35.4 billion), down from monthly purchases of 60 billion euros.
