Turkey's president vowed to oust Kurdish militants from Afrin, northern Syria, on Saturday as Syrian rebels also said they are bracing for such an operation.

Following US declaration that US is working hard to form an army of 30,000 with the leadership of YPG which Turkey considers to be same as PKK terorrist group, President Erdogan stated as "Night do not end, you better start watching us".

Although this might be a signal to launch an assault to Afrin where it is a strong hold of YPG, these kind of declaration has happened many times during the last year. Despite the fact that Turkey has all its right and capability to launch an assault against YPG (which should have been done long time ago), any assault might be limited in actions (if any) and the result might not be as much as targeted to be.

As long as US holds the cards against the Turkish bank due to Iran sanction and economy is in need of cash to survive, Turkey's any assault in the region might be limited and the result may not be as desired.
