Israel's Cabinet has passed a budget for 2019 that emphasizes social services such as education and health, in addition to increasing the country's defense spending, almost a year in advance. This signals an political stability has been settled in the country as well economic.

2019 budget is planned to be 140 billion USD where as defense budget is set to be 18.5 billion USD (the highest in all ministry where the second is Education with 18 billion USD).

The 2019 deficit will be 2.9% of GDP. It is expected to sink to 2.5% of GDP in 2020.

Although  this is not unprecedented bill to pass such budget ahead the end of 2018, this signals that Israel will focus on international and mostly security issues till end of 2020.
