Rosatom (Russian State Atom Corporation Organization) has started the construction of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant in Turkey.
The initial agreement was signed in 2010. The Plant will produce approxiamately 35 billion kWh of electricity every year. The power plant will have a service life 60 years.
After downing the Russian jets in November 2015, Turkey has rapidly healed the relations. The agreement has also emphasized the how both countries can become despite the facts that there are geopolitical difference in critical areas such as future of Syria, Mediaterrian Sea and Zaeri-Armenia relations.
