More importantly, Turkic World Vision 2040 is shared in the meeting. It emphasizes the roadmap until 2040 such as strong foreign policy, security cooperation, free trade agreements among the members, opening borders and unify the language and alphabet in particular.

Turkey has been playing a leading role in consolidating unity and cooperation among the Turkic-speaking nations. Given the Turkey and Russia historical rivalry, Turkey has interest to increase its role in Central Asia. Naturally, it will concern Russia since its influence is fading in the region since 2000s. However, Turkey’s economy also halts its efforts to consolidate more efforts such as economic incentives to Turkic partners. Since the main focus of cooperation between the Turkic-speaking nations is economic, the success in close future will be limited and will not attract a strong Moscow response for now.
